| Community Service Projects Overview
Habitat for Humanity of Fayette County, PA is working hard to put shelter on the hearts and minds of people in our community. We want poverty housing and homelessness to become socially, politically and religiously unacceptable. We are always in need of volunteers and building material donations. If you or someone you know are interested in learning how to help, visit our Habitat Office at Rear 148 West Main Street, Uniontown, (Next to the Salvation Army Thrift Store on North Mount Vernon Avenue, Uniontown) or call (724) 437-4150.
- Projects submitted will be evaluated by a Habitat Committee for approval.
- If you have people that would like to volunteer to help with the project, indicate this in Team information with any special skills they may have to help with the completion of the project.
- Projects submitted should be focused on a person's or a family's need that can not be met by their own personal financial ability, other resources or programs.
- All requests will be considered. One time, one or two day projects are preferred, but larger projects will all be given equal consideration.
- Requests for work needed for a non-profit organization or an individual's must include name, address, telephone and provide clear (easy to follow) directions to the location in need of service.
- If supplies and/or materials are needed, we need to know if there is a resource for them and if they will be at the work site. Assistance in acquiring materials may be needed to approve a project.
